Gianna is being remembered by her family and loved ones for her compassion, generosity and bright personality following her death on August 14, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born May 5, 2010.

The young woman was described by those closest to her as someone who cared deeply for the people in her life. Her family remembered her as nurturing and compassionate, with a willingness to look after the people she loved and offer support when it was needed.

Gianna was proud of her Hispanic and Native American heritage and was a member of the Chippewa and Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican Tribes. Her heritage represented an important part of her identity and helped strengthen her connection to family, culture and community.

Her relationships were among the most meaningful parts of her life. She shared a particularly close friendship with Kira and enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend, Jinkai. She also maintained strong bonds with her siblings, including Khloe, Dre and Vinny.

Beyond her relationships, Gianna enjoyed many of the simple activities that brought happiness to her everyday life. She spent time watching YouTube, listening to music and taking walks near the water. She was also learning to drive, marking another step toward independence.

Gianna was proud of earning her first job at Hy-Vee, where she enjoyed working and developing new experiences. She was also remembered as an excellent student who took pride in her accomplishments and worked to make the people around her proud.

Her death has left parents, siblings, grandparents, extended family, friends and other loved ones facing the painful loss of a young life. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jerry Davids.

For those who knew Gianna, memories of her smile and generous heart will remain especially important. The moments shared with family and friends, her enthusiasm for the things she enjoyed and the care she showed toward others have become part of the lasting remembrance of her life.
